The two resorts held a flag-raising ceremony in celebration of achieving one of the most respected eco-labels in the world.

During the past 20 years, Corfu Chandris Hotel & Villas has continually been granted the Blue Flag label which, in Greece, is represented by Greek Society for the Protection of Nature.

Over 4,000 beaches and marinas in 48 countries have met the strict criteria, which include water quality, environmental management, related education and information, safety and other services.
