Ayia Napa Promotes Cultural Awareness

Aiming to increase awareness about cultural heritage and promote Cypriot customs and traditions to both local and foreign visitors, Ayia Napa Municipality launched The Revival of the Cypriot tradition festival for the second consecutive year.

Running from June 16 – September 15, the event offers a unique opportunity for guests to enjoy a rich culturally engaging programme, including traditional dances by Ayia Napa Dancing Club performed in almost every neighborhood of the city. 

The initiative is a part of local authorities’ attempts to diversify Cyprus’ tourism offerings, showing that the island is more than a beach destination and has a unique cultural heritage that is worth exploring.
