Considered to be one of the largest sculpture symposiums in Europe, the fifth edition of Ayia Napa Sculpture Symposium which started on October 30, attracted the interest of a large number of artists from all over the world.

An innovation at this year's event, which will be running until the end of November is that sculptors will be able to use limestone from Kyvides and white marble from Kavala in Greece.

Once the symposium will be concluded, the artistic works will be placed at Ayia Napa’s Sculpture Park.

The institutionalisation of the event has a Pan-European scope, aiming to the exchange of art knowledge and experiences amongst artists of different cultures as well as the contact and acquaintance of the thousands of visitors interested in the art of sculpture.
