The hugely significant global distinction recently bestowed upon Lefkara village by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) was recently officially announced by Lefkara Municipality and Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) in the presence of the Cyprus deputy minister of tourism. Through this distinction, Lefkara has joined the international network of ‘Best Tourism Villages’.

The eagerly awaited, new Lefkara Multi-functional Conference Centre has officially opened, bringing a modern facility to the traditional mountain village - famous worldwide for its handmade embroidery and other unique handicrafts.
