Following the initiative, the board called for the creation of new sports facilities, such as football fields, and for revising the infrastructures’ charges.

Pafos Regional Board of Tourism predicts that in the next few years, visits from football teams and tract athletes will increase, while at the same time, there is also a good potential for attracting  sportsmen from the fields of golf, triathlon, biking and swimming.
