A significant recognition has been added to the accolades of Larnaka International Airport. Larnaka Airport which is managed and operated by Hermes Airports was ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Airports in Europe’ Awards (five to 10 million passengers category) during the 35th Annual Congress and General Assembly of ACI Europe (Airports Council International Europe), which took place in Athens, on June 19 of this year.

With smiles and wishes for a successful event, Hermes Airports welcomed the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 trophy and mascot to Larnaka Airport on May 26. In collaboration with the organizing committee of FIBA EuroBasket in Cyprus, Hermes proudly welcomed the prestigious trophy along with Marky Mark, the mascot of the largest sports event to be held in Cyprus.

An emergency exercise was successfully completed on 10 December 10  at Larnaka International Airport with the participation of governmental and non-governmental departments and services, operating in the airport.

Hermes Airports, Cyprus Police and Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, have announced the deployment of 74 interactive kiosks across Larnaka and Pafos International Airports.

Hermes Airports and Integrated Casino Resorts Cyprus (ICR Cyprus) announced the signing of a commercial agreement with which the airport operating company provides ICR Cyprus with two specific locations in the terminal building of Larnaka International Airport in order to create a satellite casino in the city of Larnaca.

Responding to the ever-growing expectations and demands of the travelling public, Hermes Airports announced its new upgraded services at Larnaka Airport’s car park.

Hermes Airports has won three major Cyprus Green Public Procurement (GPP) awards.
