Haris Loizides, chairman, Cyprus Hotel Association, described the association's decision as a minimal expression of appreciation for what the former president of the CTO offered over the years.

Loizides also thanked Loizos for the positive approach, respect and honesty that always characterised his relationship with the Hotel Association and its members.
