Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Surfrider Foundation Europe, Tara Expeditions Foundation, Mava Foundation and IUCN are collaborating as part of a Beyond Plastic Med (BeMed) task force to enhance the Prevent Plastic in the Mediterranean Sea initiative.

Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI) is one of the eleven winners in the Mediterranean of the Beyond Plastic Med initiative (BeMed), launched by several European non-profit organisations with the aim of raising awareness of reducing plastic pollution.
