An announcement was made on May 24 for the upgrading of Liopetri fishing shelter by Costas Kadis, agriculture minister, Cyprus and Kyriakos Trisokas, Liopetri community leader.

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism selected PMV Maritime Holdings to undertake the construction and operation of Paralimni’s marina. The company’s tender was deemed the winner of a bidding process held in 2015, following which the government will assign public property for the project.
