European Mosaic Culture Integrating Immigrants

The European Mosaic Culture programme was officially presented during a press conference held on February 26, at Paralimni Municipal Palace.

Christos Zanetou, deputy mayor, Ayia Napa, during his greeting speech, said that efforts are being made to integrate nationals from other countries into the country’s traditions, history and principles, as a way to boost the qualitative offering and sustainability.

To support this effort, Ayia Napa Municipality offered art courses, collaborated with a private school to learn the Greek language, organised festivals with international bands performing, and excursions to cultural hot-spots as well as museums.

The Mosaic of Cultures programme includes various multidimensional actions aimed at local authorities to better integrate the immigration process.
