Paphos tourism stakeholders recently attended two UK-based exhibitions, as they attempt to further develop Cyprus’ all-year-round seasonal tourism industry.

On November 01, the first information event for Delightful Journeys took place at the Environmental Information Centre of Larnaka Mountainous Area.

Viniculture has been well established in Cyprus for over 6,000 years, with the island holding the distinction of being home to the oldest named wine still in production, Commandaria.

On October 11, Ayia Napa Municipality hosted its 20,000th civil marriage for this year in one of the most scenic locations of the island, known as Ammos tou Kambouri Beach.

Continuing its efforts to upgrade and promote Cyprus as an all-year round destination, Pafos Regional Board of Tourism has recently approved the Preliminary Budget and Promotion Plan for 2018.

With the city gearing up to welcome a high number of visitors this winter, Pafos Regional Board of Tourism has invited all tourism businesses including hoteliers, travel agents and owners of leisure centres to invest into turning the coastal city into an all year-round destination.
