Leptos Calypso Hotels & Resorts has announced that Basilica Holiday Resort, Paphos was awarded by Booking.com and TripAdvisor, with a Guest Review Award 2017 for offering great guest experiences as well as monitoring quality and customer satisfaction.

TripAdvisor announced its latest ratings highlighting the world’s best beaches, positioning three Famagusta-based beaches among the very best.

Larnaka Tourism Board has recently received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for its Winter Experience programme, which took place for the fifth consecutive year.

The weekly initiative aims to boost winter tourism by providing free activities to tourists staying in Larnaca’s hotels between November and April.

Through a wide range of engaging activities including guided tours, excursions to villages, wine tasting, halloumi production, bird watching, basketry and preparation of local dishes of traditional dishes, the excursions enhance visitors’ experience while engaging them in local tradition.

The project is able to continue thanks to support from number of organisations such as Cyprus Tourism Organisation, Camel Park Mazotos, Ktima Christoudia, as well as local municipalities and other businesses.
