Larnaca-based Cobalt Air has entered into a strategic agreement with UAE flag carrier Etihad Airways towards linking Cyprus to the Middle East and beyond.

Cobalt Air announced that it will add direct service between Larnaca and the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, from February 25.

Cyprus is to enhance its collaboration in the aviation section with Qatar and the UAE, following the signing of revised memoranda of cooperation.
