Pervolia and Voroklini in the Larnaca district have experienced beach erosion with 23 m of beach lost according to Larnaca Tourism Board.

The tourism board and the Voroklini and Pervolia community councils called on the government to proceed with the construction of another seven breakwaters on the Voroklini coast and nine in Pervolia.
