The award recognises the area as one of the most attractive destinations for visitors who want to combine holidays and nature. This was the third time the entire coastal area including Geroskipou, Peyia, Polis Chrysochous and Neo Chorio achieved Quality Coast status and reflects the region’s care for preserving the quality of the environment while enhancing local identity and cultural heritage.

The achievement was made possible thanks to cooperation between municipalities under the coordination of Pafos Regional Board of Tourism and marks a great moment for Paphos but at the same time commits the city to continue improving its environmental policies.
