Kokkinotrimithia Air Traffic Centre to be Named Central Flight Control Point

The Air Traffic Control Centre in Kokkinotrimithia, with the help of Air Traffic Control Centre at Athalassa Avenue in Nicosia, is currently implementing a new design in order to be named the central flight control point of Cyprus.

As mentioned by Vassiliki Anastasiadou, minister, transport, communications and works, the procedures for the purchase and transportation of the appropriate equipment are being launched at the Air Traffic Control Centre in the Kokkinotrimithia Industrial Area.

Anastasiadou, accompanied by Alecos Michaelides, permanent secretary, Ministry of Transport, recently visited both the Flight Control Centre in Nicosia and the facilities in Kokkinotrimithia. During her visit, Anastasiadou stressed that the civil aviation officers deserve all the praise for the excellent work they are doing.
