New Identity for the Mall of Cyprus

The Mall of Cyprus renovation plan to add 30 additional shops, renovate existing shops and add 300 new parking spots, has been completed.

In a casual meeting with press correspondents on February 21, Mall of Cyprus presented its new logotype and its new promise to its visitors, as well as its upgraded website, where visitors will be able to get updated on news, events and everything that’s happening at the shopping mall. Everyone present also got to meet Julian Smith, general manager, Mall of Cyprus.

Mall of Cyprus’ new logo is part of the natural evolvement of the corporate image. More specifically, Smith said, “Cyprus’ first mall has evolved and has grown bigger to be able to provide more and better experiences and that was well welcomed by the public, since 2019 was a record year in visiting the mall, counting 6 million visits.

Smith added, “To our visitors we promise only one thing; ‘Share the experience.’ Our goal is to be the top destination where anyone can share lovely moments with their loved ones, whether that is a visit for shopping, coffee or food, or just an entertainment visit either to the cinema or for attending one of the many events we organize. New spaces, new experiences, a new logotype and a new promise for a new era for the Mall of Cyprus.”

George Pissis, marketing manager, Mall of Cyprus, presented the renewed logotype, mentioning that it mirrors everything that The Mall of Cyprus stands for.

Pissis commented, “The circles in different sizes represent the amount of shops, services, restaurants, experiences and, of course, visitors, who are the ones who give life to Mall of Cyprus, making it what it is. It consists of four colours, burgundy, blue, yellow and green. The use of these colours is not random at all. On the contrary, they are widely used in the Cypriot culture and art, and combined give the sense of familiarity. The Mall of Cyprus is the first shopping mall of its kind that has already been established in Cyprus (through the previous burgundy logotype), an island that is characterized by its ideal combination of mountains (green), the sea (blue) and the bright sun (yellow).”
