New Local Airline in the Making

TUS Airways is a local operator poised to commence services linking Cyprus to the world. Starting this month, the carrier is to launch routes

between the island’s international airports in Paphos and Larnaca to Eilat, Haifa, Tel Aviv and Beirut.

All itineraries will be served by Swedish-made twin-engine turboprop Saab 340 aircraft.

Already in October, Tus Airways performed a demonstration of a commercial flight from Larnaca to Rhodes, as part of a series of inspections by Cyprus’ Department of Civil Aviation which are required in order to obtain an air operator certificate.
