The Shipping Deputy Ministry (SDM) of the Republic of Cyprus recently announced the official launch of the Cyprus Shipping 1-Stop-Shop Portal (CYSh1P), a centralised digital platform designed to streamline and modernise all SDM maritime services.

The Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC) held with success its 33rd Annual General Meeting on May 03, at the Four Seasons Hotel, in Limassol. The general meeting was the first official opportunity for the shipping industry to reconnect with a number of state and government dignitaries, political party representatives, members of the house of representatives, diplomats and representatives of professional organisations, after a prolonged period of social distancing.

The European Parliament’s Rapporteur on the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), MEP Peter Liese, on January 14, published a Report on the revision of the EU ETS, in the framework of the ‘Fit for 55’ legislative package for shipping.

The Cyprus Shipping Chamber was established on 26 January 1989, and constitutes the trade association of the Shipping Industry in Cyprus.
