Located in the check-in area, the user-friendly e-gates serve all departing passengers and only require travellers to scan their boarding pass.
Serving up to 1,800 tourists an hour, the new facilities are expected to contribute significantly to the reduction of the total queuing time of the travelling public as well as reduce the number of passengers that, until recently, had to be served at the check-in points.
Another seven e- gates are already successfully operating at Larnaka International Airport.
