There was a 9.7 percent increase in tourist arrivals to Cyprus during April this year, creating the highest volume ever recorded for the specific month and contributing to the highest volume ever recorded for the first four months of the year.

Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) revealed that the island’s winter tourism season ended on a high note, with the period’s highest ever number of tourist arrivals reported between November 2017 and March this year.

VISITOR NUMBERS TO THE ISLAND SHOWED A NOTABLE INCREASE OF 16.3 PERCENT IN JULY, REACHING 482,132 COMPARED TO 414,527 IN THE CORRESPONDING PERIOD IN 2015.

The Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) regarded this year’s June as possibly the most successful June in terms of arrivals in the history of the island’s tourism industry, and the second best month following July 2015.
