Savvas Perdios, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus,  recently presented the work of the of the Ministry to date, and the direction tourism in Cyprus is now gaining.

Following a successful summer sailing from Limassol, Cyprus, Royal Caribbean International has announced two more seasons of cruising from Cyprus are on the horizon.

In a special ceremony that took place on September 23, in the picturesque village of Prastio Avdimou, Savvas Perdios, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus,  announced the launch of the innovative project ‘Heartland of Legends’.

A successful seminar was held at the Hilton Hotel which was organised by the College of Tourism and Hotel Management.

Savvas Perdios, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus, recently tabled the national tourism strategy for the next decade. He emphasised that the country’s goal is to be included in the top 30 world tourism ranking, a list of countries compiled by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) by 2030.

A delegation of the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism, headed by Savvas Perdios, deputy minister, visited Saudi Arabia and Dubai on November 18-21.

Savvas Perdios, tourism deputy minister, Deputy Ministry of Tourism, noted that he expects to be informed in September about an increase in flights to Cyprus and about the outcome of efforts to attract tourism from Germany, as reported by Cyprus News Agency.

Savvas Perdios, deputy minister for tourism, Cyprus, said that this year is a difficult year for tourism, but emphasised that there is no need for panic.

Savvas Perdios , deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus, has had meetings in Lebanon and Jordan and will also visit Greece, Egypt and Israel aiming to reach an agreement on the creation of common tourism packages.

In the context of the meetings, Perdios submitted specific proposals aiming to reach agreement for common thematic routes.
