The project is the result of an inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the island, and aims at the further tourist development of the countryside, mountainous and remote areas.

 It concerns the creation of a central, circular route, as well as a number of individual thematic routes, which pass entirely through these areas, and offer authentic experiences to visitors, bringing them closer to the Cypriot nature, the Cypriot tradition and the way of life of Cypriots.

 The thematic routes, which either start or end on the main route, will be continuously enriched with additional experiences in the next stages of the project.

 Nowadays, more and more travellers are looking for the opportunity to really experience the place they are visiting, to get to know the locals and the local traditions, to be introduced to the gastronomy and to understand the culture. This route and its themes therefore give the opportunity to the villages, the communities, the producers and the entrepreneurs to be promoted in connection with it, and to offer unforgettable experiences to visitors.

 It is noted that the route has been digitally captured, with a separate identity and image, to be promoted to the appropriate market segments.
