The foundation stone for Phase II development works of Larnaca and Paphos airports was laid on June 05, marking the official launch of the project that, upon completion, will take Cyprus’ airports into the future.

With smiles and wishes for a successful event, Hermes Airports welcomed the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 trophy and mascot to Larnaka Airport on May 26. In collaboration with the organizing committee of FIBA EuroBasket in Cyprus, Hermes proudly welcomed the prestigious trophy along with Marky Mark, the mascot of the largest sports event to be held in Cyprus.

Hermes Airports on March 21 announced that it has completed the financing process for Phase 2 works, with the signing of all agreements with the banks which are financing the project.

Hermes Airports continues its commitment to sustainable development by advancing two major initiatives that strengthen its sustainability strategy. Through innovative technologies and international partnerships, the company aims to further reduce the environmental footprint of Larnaca and Paphos airports by adopting green practices.

Hermes Airports has become the only airport operator to hold Platinum Accreditation in both People and Wellbeing, from Investors in People.
