Specifically, during the period December 2019 - January this year, contacts were made with officials from the Central Bank and the Development Bank, Hellenic Bank, Bank of Cyprus, Astrobank, Russian Commercial Bank, and Eurobank.

During the meetings, the financial Institutions were briefed on the role of the ministry’s Attraction Investment Division, in the framework of the National Tourism Strategy 2030. The need for implementation was emphasised.

Investments related to specific forms of tourism such as health, wine / gastronomy, cruise / luxury yachting, rural / mountainous areas, religious, cultural, congress, athletic, wedding etc.

The financial institutions were briefed on the philosophy and policy for lending to investment projects.
