The municipality aims to enrich the destination’s existing Ayia Napa Sculpture Park with more works, to encourage sculpting as an art, and promote Cypriot culture by highlighting traditions and heritage.
The programme’s first phase welcomed sculptors Alexey Kanis, Andrey Makeev and Dalgat Dalgatov from Russia, Emin Petrosyan and Haik Tokmsyan from Armenia, Irodion Gvelesiani from Georgia, Serhii Sbitniev from Ukraine, Gerard Pellini of France and Stefania Palumbo of Italy.
