In order to celebrate the founding of the European Union (EU) as well as the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome, the Historical Archives of EU, together with a number of organisations including the European University Institute have created a travelling exhibit entitled Ever Closer Union: The Legacy of the Treaties of Rome for Today’s Europe.
Among other destinations, the exhibition will stop in Cyprus giving visitors the unique opportunity to learn about the history of the European integration from the signing of the Treaties of Rome to the present day.
The exhibition will be open to the public on March 31 at Melina Mercouri Hall and on April 03 – 07 at the Municipal Multipurpose Centre in Nicosia.
