Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 100,791 in October of this year compared to 436,509 in October 2019, recording a decrease of 76,9 percent.

The Pancyprian Hoteliers Association (PASYXE) welcomed the extension of the measures to support workers in the tourism and hotel industry, as well as companies facing problems reducing their turnover. The extenson date is until the end of October of this year.

Cyprus’ arrivals of tourists reached 9,119 in June of this year compared to 509,662 in June 2019, recording a decrease of 98,2 percent.

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passengers Survey, 121,354 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in February compared to 102,756 in the corresponding month in 2019, recording an increase of 18,1 percent.

In February there was an increase of 18,7 percent in the trips of residents to Greece (39.,061 in February compared to 32,910 in February 2019) and 11,1 percent increase to the UK (18,389 compared to 16,553 in 2019).

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 169,392 in November 2019 compared to 158,685 in November 2018, recording an increase of 6,7 percent.
