Meanwhile, Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia welcomed 35.4 percent, 16.3 percent and 6.5 percent of all contracts, respectively, while Famagusta attracted 5.1 percent of transactions. Across the island, domestic sales increased 13 percent, while the overseas market soared 44 percent compared to H1 2016. In Paphos, the number of purchase contracts with foreign buyers and investors jumped 72 percent year-on-year.
