This year, a total of 35,516 volunteers helped to clean 563 points nationwide, collecting around 29,000 kg of mixed garbage and 8,000 kg of recyclable waste.

Cyprus’ Commissioner for the Environment and Together Cyprus, organised a ceremony, during which Hermes Airports received an honorary award for its support to the campaign.

Maria Kouroupi, senior marketing manager, Hermes Airports, pinpointed that environmental sustainability remains a key priority for Cyprus’ airports.
