Israel became Cyprus’ third largest market in terms of tourist arrivals, when they increased by 76 percent in 2017, rising to 262,000 travellers.
The Board’s participation at IMTM will focus on promoting the region’s year-round attractiveness for weddings, conferences, incentives, and general sports tourism.
Additionally, the Board noted that the Israeli market has plenty of potential for development due to the frequent flights between Tel Aviv and Paphos, provided by Ryanair.
