Tourist arrivals reached 3,652,073, from January – December, with 1,253,839 arriving from the UK, marking an 8.3 percent increase on 2016.
For December 2017, the UK and Greece constitute as the main inbound markets, with proportions of 28.5 percent and 14.1 percent respectively, while arrivals from Russia comprise 12.4 percent, and Israel 10.2 percent of total arrivals.
July 2017 was the most visited month with 531,030 global arrivals; of those, 176,880 visitors were from the UK.
