Cyfield was appointed by Ayia Napa Municipality to complete the project, and is expected to complete it by mid-February. As part of the second phase, the following streets are to be reconstructed; Yuri Kagari, Omonia, Martin Luther King, Pernera, Petreli, Vathia Gonia, Pnivouras, Michail Kkasialou, Kennedy, Lanta, in addition to two parking areas and entrance to the sports centre.

During the first phase, the following roads were reconstructed; Salaminas, Chavaron, Kataspilon, Chavaron, Melissi, Agiou Epifaniou, Anexartisias, Athletic Centre and Foti Pitta at Kokkines.
Yiannis Karousos, mayor, Ayia Napa, stated that the EUR400,000 investment aims to improve the whole image of the municipality.
