Six races will take place over the course of the weekend, while there will also be entertainment and festivities for runners and spectators alike once the races begin, officially at 9am with PrimeTel five km Corporate Race.
Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation Youth Race follows at 11am, giving children aged six – 16 the opportunity to experience the excitement of a big sporting event.
For the second consecutive year, visitors can enjoy Petrolina Energy Day from 9am – 12pm on March 17 as well as Pasta Party, 5pm, both at Limassol Marathon Village, Old Port Square.
March 18 gets off to an early start with the main event OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO and Limassol Half Marathon at 7.30am and Petrolina 10 km Energy Race and five km City Race at 8am.
For the first time, the Marathon and Half Marathon races will feature an international team of pacers to help runners achieve their target times. An all-day After Party by Guaba Beach Bar at Limassol Marathon Village rounds off the weekend.
