The award-winning European Destination of Cyprus EDEN 2018 was proclaimed Larnaca’s mountainous region, following a relevant biding process conducted by Cyprus Tourism Organisation.

EDEN is being carried out under the European Programme COSME, co-funded by the European Commission’s tourism unit.

It is a project that promotes sustainable tourism development models across the European Union and focuses on annual national competitions for selecting a tourist Destination of Excellence from each participating member state.
