The tourist product of Larnaca is enriched on a continuous basis, thanks to initiatives of active local authorities as well as resourceful entrepreneurs who have taken the pulse of what the modern tourist is looking for.
Larnaca’s newest additions include; Historical Archive at Larnaca Municipality Museum, which offers exhibits on the evolution and theatrical history of the city; and Foivos Stavridis Foundation, where the collection material of over 30,000 items is kept.
Moreover, a basket weaving workshop in Choirokitia, is also proving to be a popular attraction.
Inside the workshop courtyard, guests can see and participate in the construction of handy items. Additionally, the way of making halloumi on the table is also presented here.
