InvestCyprus Forms Dedicated Unit to Assist Tourist Targets

InvestCyprus, the island’s organization responsible for attracting foreign direct investment, announced the creation of a dedicated unit in a bid to facilitate efforts to achieve Cyprus’ National Tourist Strategy for 2030, which aims at attracting five million tourists by 2030.

In a bid to achieve 2030 tourism targets, InvestCyprus will operate as a One-Stop Shop providing information to potential investors over infrastructure projects and available investment opportunities.

It will also organise on-site visits, and in collaboration with property owners, InvestCyprus will create a project bank with all available investment opportunities on the island.

In addition to the goal of attracting a flow of five million tourists by 2030, the national strategy also aims to boost overnight stays in winter months and quadrupling overnight stays in rural areas.
