Unified Tourist Doctrine of Greece – Cyprus

The Cyprus Travel Agents Association (ACTA) and the Tourist and Travel Agencies Association of Greece (HATTA) confirmed on April 24 via teleconference that they intend to cooperate and submit a joint proposal to the relevant two government departments.

This proposition is for the creation of a New Tourist Doctrine between Cyprus and Greece in order to consider these countries as a single internal space.

The proposal is aimed at securing tourists from one country to another once conditions allow, as both countries are successfully dealing with the pandemic of the new corona COVID-19.

The main factor for the successful outcome of this project will of course be the announcement of the Government of Cyprus on the opening of the Cypriot airports, which is anxiously awaited by the travel agents.
