An increase of 26,4 percent was also recorded compared to March 2020. The main countries from which the residents of Cyprus returned in March of this year were Greece with 35,4 percent, the UK with 17,9 percent and Bulgaria with 3,2 percent.
The statistics for March of this year were obtained from processing of the data of the electronic platform ‘Cyprus Flight Pass’. Due to issues that arose from the self-declared information provided by the passengers, it was not possible to provide a more extensive analysis.

A total number of 59,918 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in March of this year, compared to 13,289 in the corresponding month in 2021, recording an increase of 350,9 percent.
