Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for January 2025 Announced

Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus’ revenue from tourism reached EUR69,2 million in January, recording an increase of 53,1 percent as compared to January 2024 (EUR45,2 million).

The average expenditure per person was EUR617,65 this January compared to EUR513,52 in January 2024, recording an increase of 20,3 percent.

Tourists from Israel (the largest tourist market with 21,1 percent of the total tourists in January) spent on average EUR176,13 per day, while tourists from the UK (the second largest market during the specific month with 16,7 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR57,75.

Tourists from Poland (the third largest market with 14,1 percent), spent on average EUR69,97 per day.
