The Tourism Development and Promotion Company of Limassol participated at World Travel Market (WTM) London in 2016, with positive results.

The region so far has had optimistic results, recording a substantial increase in arrivals for 2016. In the first 10 months, Limassol saw 115,000 more British tourists than the same period in 2015.

This trend is expected to continue in the current year, according to tour operators in the UK which met with Limassol representatives at WTM.

The company also held meetings with conference organisers, journalists and other tourism professionals in order to strengthen the relations and visibility of Limassol.

The group also took part in educational presentations and themed events in various UK cities, and is hosting tourism consultants, journalists, and bloggers as part of its promotion efforts.
