During the meeting, Karousos expressed his positive views towards a twining between the two municipalities and highlighted the positive benefits of a future collaboration.  

Among other items, the two mayors had the opportunity to discuss their communities’ history and culture and to exchange views on the topics of tourism and economy.

During a tour at various historic and touristic points on the island including the United Nations Buffer Zone, Limassol Marina and Cape Greco, Karousos had the opportunity to talk to  the Russian delegation about the country’s complex political history.
