Yiannis Karousos, minister of transport, communications and works, Cyprus, visited the Port and Marina of Larnaca on September 09, where he was informed about the renewed master plan and the progress of the construction works.
The Larnaca Port and Marina project, amounting to EUR1,2 billion is the island’s largest infrastructure project of its kind, according to Karousos. The project will not only benefit the Laranca district but the whole of Cyprus itself.
The Cypriot-Israeli consortium company Kition Ocean Holdings, the winner of the government’s international public tender procurement process, and are currently tasked with completing the redevelopment project.
