The health protocol was presented at the Limassol passenger terminal in early May, which in June will begin welcoming the first cruise passengers from Israel, while in July the two companies that chose Limassol as their base will begin their own cruises.
DP World Limassol is in final stage of preparations to soon safely welcome the cruise passengers, while strictly adhering to the relevant health protocols and guidelines stipulated by the relevant authorities.
As an integral partner of the state in this effort, DP World Limassol has been in constant communication with the Ministries of Transport and Health as well as with the Deputy Ministries of Tourism and Shipping in order to ensure that all health protocols will be successfully implemented in time for the dynamic restart of the cruise sector.
At DP World Limassol, the company remains optimistic that maritime tourism could play a crucial role in the recovery of the tourism sector and the gradual restart of the economy, following the pandemic.
