On behalf of the Consortium, Panos Alexandrou, managing director, Joseph Hadjiosif, project manager, and Paris Dimitriou, operation manager, discussed during the meeting the main aspects of this emblematic project.

 During the presentation, the four phases of the project, and the relevant schedules were explained in detail, while the models and the respective plans were displayed.

 Regarding the first phase of the project, which will be completed in a period of five years, will begin with the maintenance and restoration of the historic pier and will continue with the creation of basic infrastructure projects such as the construction of a new road that will connect Finikoudes with the roundabout of the Port, new dock in the port, yacht club building, new passenger terminal hall, administration building, increase of the marina capacity to 650 boats with the creation of a new breakwater.

 Also included will be a creation of a luxury five-star hotel, as well as in the third phase, the creation of another four-star hotel is also planned.

 The new port will, in a reasonable time, be able to attract new generation cruise ships and for this purpose Kition Ocean Holdings and ETAP Larnaca will be coordinated to take appropriate action. As for the Marina, it will be able to accommodate boats from 10 to 130 meters while there will be a specially arranged area for their repair.
