In the second quarter of 2025, the job vacancy rate was 2.2 percent in the euro area, a decrease from 2.4 percent in the first quarter of the current and from 2.6 percent in the second quarter of 2024, according to the figures published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
Cyprus’ number of job vacancies in the third quarter of 2024 reached 16.010, recording an increase of 3.736 vacancies (30,4 percent) compared to the same quarter of the 2023 where the number was 12.274.
