The newly-launched ‘Larnaca Virtual Diving Routes’ have introduced and offer an interactive, digital way to experience some of Larnaca’s most popular dive sites – for divers preparing for an expedition, or non-divers wanting to enjoy a glimpse of the world beneath the waves.

The Municipality of Ayia Napa has announced an open tender for the conclusion of a project contract entitled: ‘Formation of Three Diving Points in the Coastal Areas KAVOS (CANYON), CAVES (STAVROS) and AGIOI in Anargyro’ tender documents.

Tenders must be submitted in the electronic contracting system (eProcurement), at the tender site at http://www.eprocurement.gov.cy no later than 12.00m on January 18, 2021.

On December 07, Elpida, a 63 m long boat, brought from Greece, was sunk off the coast of Cyprus to in order to form an artificial reef.

There is full of hope for the current year for the Larnaca region’s reputation as a premium diving destination with the sinking of the Elpida (Hope) and the LEFI vessels to create new artificial reefs.
