Larnaca Tourism Board (LTB) is participating in several projects of the Erasmus+ programme of the EU as part of its efforts to facilitate and improve the tourism industry and tourism experience.

Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) organised its annual familiarisation trip on March 15 for personnel of Larnaca hotels, local travel agencies, tour guides and other employees within the tourism industry. The annual trip aims to acquaint participants with new points of interest added to the Larnaca region tourism product each year. 

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed June 20 between Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) and UCLan Cyprus university with the aim of strengthening and consolidating the cooperation between the two.

The Archaeological Museum of the Larnaca district has reopened following extensive renovations and offers a modern take on old treasures, including an impressive collection of rare sarcophagi. 

With flights to Larnaca not only resuming, but expanding for the new season, Larnaca Tourism Board (LTB) spoke to Maria Kouroupi, senior manager of aviation development, marketing & communications, Hermes Airports Ltd, about how connectivity and accessibility is developing at Larnaka International Airport. 

Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) has won a trio of awards at this year’s Cyprus Tourism Awards with Gold, Silver and Bronze accolades, making it the third consecutive year of wins for LTB.

In view of the imminent start of the works of the large development of the Port-Marina of Larnaca from April 01, the date on which the consortium will officially take over the management of the project, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company was held on February 07, with Kition Holdings.

Larnaka Tourism Board is spearheading and sponsoring upgrades and initiatives across the region with exciting projects within the city and at several villages and communities for this year, aimed at improving facilities and leisure options.

A host of new hotels are on the horizon for Larnaca region - including resort hotels, boutique establishments and even lodgings in historic, listed buildings, expanding the choice of accommodation available to visitors.
