According to Paphos Regional Board of Tourism, the coastal city has the capacity to accommodate more than 200,000 visitors during the winter period December – March 2018, with 11,000 beds to be in full operation during the season.
The region currently has some 27,635 beds, covering all categories of accommodation.
Many properties that plan to inhibit their operations during the season will undergo major upgrades.
A number of developments for Paphos, both in terms of its air links and with the attraction of special market segments, will further help in expanding the season and encourage more units to be available on a full-year basis over the next few years.
