Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for June Announced

Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus revenue from tourism reached EUR422,3 million this June, recording an increase of 9,6 percent as compared to the corresponding month of 2024 (EUR385,2 million).

For the period of January – June of this year, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR1.378,1 million compared to EUR1.136,4 million in the corresponding period of 2024, recording an increase of 21,3 percent.

The average expenditure per person was EUR847,01 this June compared to EUR798,77 in June 2024, recording an increase of 6 percent.

Tourists from the UK (the largest tourist market with 36,4 percent of the total tourists in June) spent on average EUR103,92 per day, while tourists from Poland (the second largest market during the specific month with 7,3 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR90,91.

Tourists from Israel (the third largest market with 6,1 percent), spent on average EUR149,44 per day.
